Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Law) Notification 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(1) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Law, with the approval of the President, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Law) Notification 2004 and shall come into operation on 22nd October 2004.

Delegation of powers

2. The Minister for Law hereby deputes the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Law to exercise the powers of the Minister under —

(a)	section 5(4) of the Plant Varieties Protection Act 2004 (Act 22 of 2004);
(b)	section 49(4) of the Registered Designs Act (Cap. 266); and
(c)	section 2D(1) of the State Lands Act (Cap. 314).

Made this 20th day of October 2004.
