| Citation and commencement |
| 1. This Notification may be cited as the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Defence) Notification 2002 and shall come into operation on 20th December 2002. |

| 2. The Minister for Defence, with the approval of the President, hereby deputes the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, to exercise the powers of the Minister under section 24(3) of the Enlistment Act (Cap. 93). |
