Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Finance) Notification 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Finance) Notification 1998 and shall come into operation on 20th February 1998.

Persons deputed to exercise Minister’s powers

2. The Minister for Finance, with the approval of the President, hereby deputes the person specified in the first column of the Schedule to exercise, in the circumstances set out in that Schedule and for the amounts specified in the second column thereof, the powers of the Minister under section 19 of the Financial Procedure Act (Cap. 109).

Cancellation

3. The Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Finance) (No. 3) Notification (N 5) is cancelled.
