Income Tax (Approved Banks) Order 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(16) of the Income Tax Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Income Tax (Approved Banks) Order 2006 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 6th March 2006.

Approved bank

2. Axis Bank Limited is hereby approved as an “approved bank” for the purposes of section 13(1)(t) of the Act.

Made this 20th day of March 2006.
