(Trafigura Holdings Pte Ltd —
Section 13(12) Exemption) Order 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(12) of the Income Tax Act, the Minister for Finance makes the following Order:
Citation
1.  This Order is the Income Tax (Trafigura Holdings Pte Ltd — Section 13(12) Exemption) Order 2020.
Exemption
2.—(1)  Dividends received in Singapore by Trafigura Holdings Pte Ltd (a company incorporated in Singapore) during its financial year that ended on 30 September 2016 from Trafigura BV (a company incorporated in the Netherlands), which were derived from dividends received by Trafigura BV from Trafigura Pte Ltd (a company incorporated in Singapore), are exempt from tax.
(2)  The exemption in sub‑paragraph (1) is subject to the conditions specified in the letter of approval dated 23 July 2018 addressed to PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore Pte Ltd, the representative of Trafigura Holdings Pte Ltd.
