(Public Authorities)
Notification 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definition of “public authority” in section 14A(7) of the Maintenance of Parents Act 1995, the Minister for Social and Family Development makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Maintenance of Parents (Public Authorities) Notification 2024 and comes into operation on 1 July 2024.

Public authorities

2. For the purposes of the definition of “public authority” in section 14A(7) of the Act, the following are specified as public authorities:

(a)	Central Provident Fund Board;
(b)	Family Justice Courts;
(c)	Housing and Development Board;
(d)	Immigration & Checkpoints Authority;
(e)	Ministry of Social and Family Development;
(f)	Singapore Police Force;
(g)	State Courts;
(h)	Supreme Court.
