Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore
(Port Limits) Notification 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 (1) of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Act, the Minister for Communications, after consultation with the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Port Limits) Notification 1997 and shall come into operation on 11th July 1997.

Port limits

2. The waters within the limits described in the Schedule and any place or premises which is under the control of or used by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore for the purpose of carrying out its duties or functions are declared to be the port within the meaning of the Act.

Cancellation

3. The Port of Singapore Authority (Port Limits) Notification (Cap. 236, N 5) is cancelled.
