Medical Registration (Term of Office) Order 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 74(1) of the Medical Registration Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Medical Registration (Term of Office) Order 2004 and shall come into operation on 25th August 2004.

Term of office of member

2. A person elected on 4th November 2004 as a member of the Medical Council to take the place of a member of the Medical Council —

(a)	who was appointed or elected before 24th January 2003; and
(b)	whose term of office has expired,

shall hold office for a term of 24 months and 15 days, from 6th November 2004 to 20th November 2006 (both dates inclusive).
