FIRST SCHEDULE
Regulations 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14 and 16.
  In this Schedule, the following annotations are used:
(a)To be used ONLY on medical advice and to be labelled accordingly.
(b)Only required when the vessel is proceeding to or operating in a malarial area as defined in the Third Schedule.
(c)To be labelled “Not to be used more than four weeks after first opening”.
(d)Only required when the vessel is proceeding to or operating in tropical waters.
(e)An oxygen resuscitator set with accessories that will permit the equipment to give therapy with both 24 per cent and 35 per cent oxygen will be acceptable in lieu of this item if sufficient oxygen is carried for three hours treatment at 35 per cent in addition to that required for resuscitation.
(f)Passenger vessels must carry one first-aid kit for every 50 persons or fraction thereof that they are licensed to carry subject to a maximum of three kits.
(g)A pre-packed press-button pressure canister may be used in lieu.
(h)Not required on vessels of less than 80 grt.
(i)Where an oxygen resuscitator is carried in compliance with Scale IV it will not be necessary to carry a second set to meet Scale V.
