PART I

PRELIMINARY

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Nurses and Midwives Regulations.

Definitions

2. In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires —

“Disciplinary Committee” means the Disciplinary Committee established under regulation 27;

“Education and Examination Committee” means the Education and Examination Committee established under regulation 22(1)(a);

“Registration Committee” means the Registration Committee established under regulation 22(1)(b);

“registered medical practitioner” means a person registered as a medical practitioner under the Medical Registration Act [Cap. 174].
