Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (Schools Publications) Notification.

Schools publications

2. Publications published by the principals of Government and Government-aided schools and the chief executives of other official or quasi-official institutions of learning in Singapore shall be exempted from section 14 of the Act, with effect from the date on which written notice of the exemption is given to the publishers thereof.

Revocation by notice

3. An exemption in respect of any of the publications referred to in paragraph 2 may be revoked at any time by written notice to the publishers concerned.
