Declaration of Prison

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Prisons Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby declares Selarang Park Drug Rehabilitation Centre (excluding Block 104 at Sector IV), 1 Selarang Park Road, Singapore 508167, to be a prison for the purposes of the Act and defines that place to be a prison for the custody of all classes of prisoners convicted, remanded or detained under any written law, with effect from 7th May 2003.

2. Items (9) and (20) in the Schedule to the Declaration of Prisons (Consolidation) Notification (N 3) are deleted.
