Public Entertainments (Arts Entertainment) Rules 2022 |

Citation and commencement |
1. These Rules are the Public Entertainments (Arts Entertainment) Rules 2022 and come into operation on 6 May 2022. |
Definition |
2. In these Rules, “licence” means a licence issued or renewed, or to be issued or renewed, under the Act by the Arts Entertainment Licensing Officer. |
Application for licence, etc. |
Licence not transferable |
4. A licensee must not transfer or lend the licensee’s licence to any other person. |
Licence fee |
5. The fee payable for the issue or renewal of a licence is a sum calculated at the rate specified in the Schedule. |
Fee for classification of content of arts entertainment |
6.—(1) The fee payable to the Arts Entertainment Licensing Officer under section 17(1)(c) of the Act for the classification of the content of an arts entertainment is $30.

Waiver of fees |
7.—(1) The Arts Entertainment Licensing Officer may waive the payment of any fee specified in these Rules.

Refund of fee |
8. No refund may be made in respect of any fee paid under these Rules, except where the Arts Entertainment Licensing Officer considers appropriate. |
Revocation |
9. The Public Entertainments and Meetings (Arts Entertainment) Rules (R 4) are revoked. |
