Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Composition of Offences) Regulations

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Composition of Offences) Regulations.

Compoundable offences

2. The following offences may be compounded by the Director in accordance with section 20(1) of the Act:

(a)	any offence under section 5, 7, 12 or 14(1) or (2) of the Act;
(b)	any offence under regulation 60 of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Regulations (Rg 1) in connection with any contravention or failure to comply with regulation 7, 8, 9, 10(1) or (3), 11, 12, 12A(1) or (3), 12B, 14A, 15(1), 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 29A, 32, 33, 34, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 43, 48, 50, 51, 52(1) or (2), 53 or 54 of those Regulations; [S 39/2019 wef 15/04/2019] [S 74/2021 wef 01/05/2021]
(c)	any offence under regulation 13 of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Publicity) Regulations (Rg 3) revoked on 15 April 2019; [S 282/2004 wef 17/05/2004] [S 830/2010 wef 02/01/2011] [S 39/2019 wef 15/04/2019]
(d)	any offence under regulation 17 of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Advertisement) Regulations 2019 (G.N. No. S 38/2019). [S 39/2019 wef 15/04/2019]
