Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics
(Composition of Offences) Regulations 2000
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 22 of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2000 and shall come into operation on 10th August 2000.
Compoundable offences
2.  The following offences may be compounded by the Director in accordance with section 20(1) of the Act:
(a)any offence under section 5, 7, 12 or 14(1) or (2) of the Act; and
(b)any offence under regulation 55 of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Regulations (Rg 1) in connection with any contravention or failure to comply with regulation 7, 8, 9, 10(1) or (3), 11, 12, 15(1), 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 42, 46, 47, 48(1) or (2), 49, 50 or 51 of those Regulations.
