Parking Places
(Improper Parking Reporting —
Exemption) Order 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Parking Places Act, the Minister for Transport makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Parking Places (Improper Parking Reporting — Exemption) Order 2018 and comes into operation on 8 July 2018.

New licensees exempt from reporting improper parking

2. Every licensee —

(a)	who, on the date it applied for its licence under section 8D of the Act, had provided a licensable service for a continuous period of less than 6 months (inclusive of any period before that application); and
(b)	who does not, pursuant to section 8L(1) of the Act, enter into an information sharing arrangement with another licensee,

is exempt from —

(c)	section 8K(2)(c) of the Act; and
(d)	regulation 8(1), (2) and (3) of the Parking Places (Licensing of Shared Vehicles) Regulations 2018 (G.N. No. S 285/2018).
