Platform Workers Act 2024
(Commencement) Notification 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Platform Workers Act 2024, the Minister for Manpower makes the following Notification:
1.  This Notification is the Platform Workers Act 2024 (Commencement) Notification 2024.
2.  The following provisions of the Platform Workers Act 2024 come into operation on 15 October 2024:
(a)sections 2 to 6, 93 to 97 and 102;
(b)the First and Second Schedules;
(c)paragraphs 1(a) and 5 of the Fourth Schedule;
(d)paragraphs 1, 2(a), (b), (d), (e), (f), (i), (j) and (k), 4, 10(a) and 12 to 16 of the Ninth Schedule.
3.  The following provisions of the Platform Workers Act 2024 come into operation on 1 November 2024:
(a)Parts 3 and 5;
(b)sections 7, 86 to 92, 98, 104, 106, 107, 110, 111(a) and (b), 112, 113, 115, 117, 120 and 121;
(c)the Third Schedule;
(d)paragraphs 4(1)(b) and 8 of the Fifth Schedule.
