Remote Gambling
(Exemption) Order 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the Remote Gambling (Exemption) Order 2017.

Definitions

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —

“draw” means the draw to be held at 12 noon on 26 April 2017 at the Main Servicing Branch, Level 1, Income Centre, 75 Bras Basah Road, Singapore 189557, as part of the promotion;

“organiser” means NTUC Income Insurance Co‑operative Limited, a body corporate established under the Co‑operative Societies Act (Cap. 62);

“promotion” means the promotion called “Income OrangeAid x Liverpool FC Give and Win” which is to be made available from 6 April 2017 to 23 April 2017 (both dates inclusive) on the website at http://www.oagiveandwin.com;

“public accountant” has the same meaning as in section 2(1) of the Accountants Act (Cap. 2).

Exemption

3.—(1) The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 13, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draw.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
