(Exemption) (No. 2)
Order 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the Remote Gambling (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2018.

Definitions

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —

“draw” means any draw to be held as part of the promotion at 1 Hampshire Road, Singapore 219428 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on the following dates:

“organiser” means the Land Transport Authority of Singapore established by section 3 of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore Act (Cap. 158A);

“promotion” means the promotion called “ATU Lucky Draw for Senior Citizens” from 1 July 2018 to 11 January 2019 (both dates inclusive) —

(a)	in brochures distributed at community centres;
(b)	on the website at https://www.transitlink.com.sg; and
(c)	on the Facebook and Twitter social media platforms maintained by either or both the organiser and Transit Link Pte Ltd;

“public accountant” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Accountants Act (Cap. 2).

Exemption

3.—(1) The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 12, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draws.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
