Remote Gambling
(Exemption) (No. 3)
Order 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the Remote Gambling (Exemption) (No. 3) Order 2017.

Definitions

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —

“draw” means the draw to be held at 2 p.m. on 5 January 2018 at the Singapore Turf Club, 1 Turf Club Avenue, Singapore 738078, as part of the promotion;

“organiser” means the Singapore Turf Club;

“promotion” means the promotion called “Macau Racing Bonanza” that is to be made available from 4 November 2017 to 30 December 2017 (both dates inclusive) to account holders of the organiser’s Telebet betting system and users of the organiser’s Self Betting Kiosks who bet on Macau races;

“public accountant” has the same meaning as in section 2(1) of the Accountants Act (Cap. 2).

Exemption

3.—(1) The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draw.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
