(Exemption) (No. 5)
Order 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Remote Gambling (Exemption) (No. 5) Order 2015.

Definitions

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —

“contest” means the “2015 Horse of the Year Online Contest”, for participation by members of the STC Facebook Fan Page and which is to be made available from 2 p.m. on 18 December 2015 to 2 p.m. on 4 January 2016;

“draw” means the draw to be held on 7 January 2016 as part of the contest;

“STC” means the Singapore Turf Club;

“STC Facebook Fan Page” means the website at http://www.facebook.com/SGTurfClub.

Exemption

3.—(1) The STC is exempt from sections 11, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the contest and the draw.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the STC with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
