(Land Transport Authority of Singapore —
Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the Remote Gambling (Land Transport Authority of Singapore — Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2021.

Definitions

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —

“draw” means the draw to be held as part of the promotion at 1 Hampshire Road, Block 4 Level 2, Singapore 219428 at 9 a.m. on 6 December 2021;

“organiser” means the Land Transport Authority of Singapore established by section 3 of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore Act (Cap. 158A);

“promotion” means the promotion called “Caring Commuter Week 2021 Social Media Quiz Contest” that is to be made available from 30 November 2021 to 5 December 2021 (both dates inclusive) on the Facebook and Instagram social media platforms maintained by the organiser;

“public accountant” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Accountants Act (Cap. 2).

Exemption

3.—(1) The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 13, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draw.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
