Order 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the Remote Gambling (Exemption) (No. 10) Order 2018.

Definitions

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —

“draw” means any draw to be held as part of the promotion at 3 Stadium Drive, Singapore 397630 at 12 noon on the following dates:

(a)	18 January 2019;
(b)	25 January 2019;
(c)	1 February 2019;

“organiser” means the Singapore Sports Council established by section 3 of the Singapore Sports Council Act (Cap. 305);

“promotion” means the promotion called “GameOn Nila!@ANG BAO HUNT 2019” that is to be made available from 1 January 2019 to 31 January 2019 (both dates inclusive) on the ActiveSG mobile application platform maintained by the organiser;

“public accountant” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Accountants Act (Cap. 2).

Exemption

3.—(1) The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 13, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draws.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
