Regulation of Imports and Exports (Montreal Protocol) (Revocation) Regulations 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Regulation of Imports and Exports Act, the Trade Development Board, with the approval of the Minister for Trade and Industry, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Regulation of Imports and Exports (Montreal Protocol) (Revocation) Regulations 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2001.

Revocation

2. The Regulation of Imports and Exports (Montreal Protocol) Regulations (Rg 3) are revoked.

Savings

3. Notwithstanding regulation 2, any licence granted by the Trade Development Board under the revoked Regulation of Imports and Exports (Montreal Protocol) Regulations (Rg 3) shall have the same force and effect as if it had been granted under the Environmental Pollution Control Act 1999 (Act 9 of 1999).
