Road Traffic
(Trifactor Triathlon & Duathlon —
Exemption) Order 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation and period in force

1.—(1) This Order is the Road Traffic (Trifactor Triathlon & Duathlon — Exemption) Order 2024.

(2) This Order is in force on 28 July 2024 starting 6 a.m. and ending 1 p.m.

Definitions

2. In this Order —

“specified event” means the Trifactor Triathlon & Duathlon event organised by Orange Room Pte. Ltd. (UEN 200811733N) on 28 July 2024;

“specified road” means the road delineated by the black‑coloured line in the map set out in the Schedule.

Exemption for riding bicycle

3. Rules 5, 6, 7, 7A, 8, 10 and 11 of the Road Traffic (Bicycles, Three-wheeled Pedal Cycles, Trishaws and Recumbent Devices — Road Conduct) Rules (R 3) do not apply to an individual who rides a bicycle on the specified road during and in connection with the specified event.
