Road Traffic
(Exemption from Requirement
for Instructor’s Licence)
Order 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 51(3) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Exemption from Requirement for Instructor’s Licence) Order 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2012.

Exemption

2. Every person employed as a driving instructor by a holder of a driving school licence specified in the First Schedule which satisfies the conditions specified in the Second Schedule shall, while he remains so employed, be exempted from section 51(1) of the Road Traffic Act.
