Public Utilities (Amendment) Act 2023
(Commencement) Notification 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Public Utilities (Amendment) Act 2023, the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Public Utilities (Amendment) Act 2023 (Commencement) Notification 2024.

2. Sections 5 and 8 of the Public Utilities (Amendment) Act 2023 come into operation on 1 April 2024.

3. Sections 15 and 22(1) of the Public Utilities (Amendment) Act 2023 come into operation on 1 January 2025.
