Employment of Foreign Manpower (Levy Penalty) Notification 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(5) of the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Employment of Foreign Manpower (Levy Penalty) Notification 2007 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2007.

Levy penalty

2. For the purpose of section 11(5) of the Act, the penalty under section 11(4) of the Act for any unpaid levy shall be calculated at the rate of 2% per month of the amount of levy outstanding.
