Subordinate Courts (Variation of Magistrate’s Court Limit) Order 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 52(3) of the Subordinate Courts Act, the President, after consulting the Chief Justice, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Subordinate Courts (Variation of Magistrate’s Court Limit) Order 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st August 1999.

Variation of Magistrate’s Court limit

2. For the purposes of the Act, the Magistrate’s Court limit shall be $60,000.
