Sale of Commercial Properties (Exemption)
Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(2) of the Sale of Commercial Properties Act, the Minister for National Development makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Notification is the Sale of Commercial Properties (Exemption) Notification 2017.

(2) The period for which this Notification is in force starts on 7 August 2017 and ends at 2359 hours on 6 February 2018.

Exemption

2. Sections 4 and 5 of the Act, and the Sale of Commercial Properties Rules (R 1) do not apply in relation to the sale of the second and third storeys of the proposed eight‑storey mixed‑use development to be developed on Lot 98849K MK 24 at 16 Lorong 35 Geylang, Singapore 387946 under Planning Permission ES20160415R0168 dated 28 February 2017.
