Skills Development Levy (Variation of Remuneration of Employees) Order 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(2) of the Skills Development Levy Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Skills Development Levy (Variation of Remuneration of Employees) Order 2005 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2005.

Variation of remuneration of employees

2. No skills development levy shall be chargeable for any month in respect of any employee whose remuneration exceeds $2,000 for that month.

Revocation

3. The Skills Development Levy (Variation of Remuneration of Employees) Order 2004 (G.N. No. S 271/2004) is revoked.
