(Exemption of Ascendas Hospitality
Real Estate Investment Trust)
Regulations 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 337(1) of the Securities and Futures Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Securities and Futures (Exemption of Ascendas Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 4 January 2020.
Exemption
2.  The responsible person for Ascendas Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust is exempt from the requirement under section 295(2) of the Act to take the necessary steps to wind up Ascendas Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust following the withdrawal of the Authority’s authorisation of Ascendas Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust under section 288(7) of the Act.
