Secondhand Goods Dealers Act 2007

Secondhand Goods Dealers (Composition of Offences) Rules 2007
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19(3) of the Secondhand Goods Dealers Act 2007, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Secondhand Goods Dealers (Composition of Offences) Rules 2007 and shall come into operation on 1st December 2007.
Compoundable offences
2.  The following offences may be compounded by the Licensing Officer in accordance with section 19(1) of the Act:
(a)any offence under section 4(2) or 10(6) of the Act; and
(b)any offence under rule 5(4), 6(2), 7(4), 8(2) or 9(2) of the Secondhand Goods Dealers Rules 2007 (G.N. No. S 551/2007).
