Singapore Tourism (Tourist Guides) Regulations 2014 |

Citation and commencement |
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Guides) Regulations 2014 and shall come into operation on 7 October 2014. |
Register of guides at places or points of interest |
2. For the purposes of identifying the persons described in section 19B(2) of the Act, the owner or operator of a place or point of interest must —

3. Any criteria and requirements of the Board for an application for or renewal of a tourist guide licence is to be published on the Board’s Internet website at http://www.stb.gov.sg. |
Prohibition of conveying tourists together with unlicensed tourist guides |
4. An owner, an operator or a driver of a motor vehicle may use the motor vehicle or permit the motor vehicle to be used to convey tourists into Singapore or to a place or point of interest in Singapore only —

Waiver, remission or refund of fees |
6. The Chief Executive may, as the Chief Executive thinks fit, waive, remit or refund, wholly or in part, any fee paid or payable under these Regulations. |
Revocation |
7. The Singapore Tourism (Licensing and Control of Tourist Guides) Regulations (Rg 1) are revoked. |
