Street Works (Composition of Offences) Regulations 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 52(2) of the Street Works Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Communications and Information Technology, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Street Works (Composition of Offences) Regulations 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st August 1999.

Composition of offences

2. The following offences may be compounded by the Authority in accordance with section 52(1) of the Act:

(a)	any offence under regulation 32 of the Street Works (Works on Public Streets) Regulations (Rg 2) in connection with any contravention or failure to comply with regulation 4, 13, 14, 15(1)(a), (b), (c) or (d), 16, 17(b), 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 25 or 31 of those Regulations; and
(b)	any offence under regulation 2(2) or (5) of the Street Works (Obstructions in Public Streets) Regulations 2000 (G.N. No. S 217/2000). [S 272/2000 wef 13/06/2000]
