Telecommunications (Designated Telecommunication Licensees — Facilities-based Operator) Notification 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definition of “designated telecommunication licensee” in section 32A(1) of the Telecommunications Act, the Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Telecommunications (Designated Telecommunication Licensees — Facilities-based Operator) Notification 2005 and shall come into operation on 4th March 2005.

Designated telecommunication licensees

2. The Authority hereby declares all telecommunication licensees granted a licence to provide facilities-based operations under section 5 of the Act to be designated telecommunication licensees for the purposes of Part VA of the Actand subsection 10.2 of the Code of Practice for Competition in the Provision of Telecommunication Services 2005 (G.N. No. S 87/2005).
