Probation of Offenders (Approved Institutions) (Amendment) Order 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Probation of Offenders Act, the Minister for Community Development hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Probation of Offenders (Approved Institutions) (Amendment) Order 1999 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 23rd January 1999.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Part I of the Schedule to the Probation of Offenders (Approved Institutions) Order (O 1) is amended by deleting the words “Bukit Batok Boys’ Hostel” and substituting the words “Singapore Boys’ Hostel”.
