COVID-19 (Temporary Measures)
(Substitution of Period)
Order 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 45(3)(a) and 53(3)(a) and (4)(d) of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020, the Minister for Law makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Substitution of Period) Order 2021 and comes into operation on 24 February 2021.
Substitution of period for section 45(3)(a) of Act
2.  For the purposes of section 45(3)(a) of the Act, the period of “6 weeks and one day” applies in substitution of the period of “6 weeks” mentioned in that provision.
Substitution of period for section 53(3)(a) of Act
3.  For the purposes of section 53(3)(a) of the Act, the period of “6 weeks and one day” applies in substitution of the period of “6 weeks” mentioned in that provision.
Substitution of period for section 53(4)(d) of Act
4.  For the purposes of section 53(4)(d) of the Act, the period of “one month after the period of 6 weeks and one day” applies in substitution of the period of “one month after the period of 6 weeks” mentioned in that provision.
