Penalty

30. Any person who contravenes any of the provisions of —

(a)	regulation 3 or 4;
(b)	regulations 6 to 25, with the exception of regulation 15(1);
(c)	regulation 26(1) or (7); or
(d)	regulation 27,

shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction —

(i)	for a first offence, to a fine not exceeding $150 and to a further fine not exceeding $50 for every day during which the offence continues after conviction;
(ii)	for a second offence, to a fine not exceeding $500 and to the like further fine; and
(iii)	for a third or subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding $1,000 and to the like further fine.

Penalty

30. Any person who contravenes any provision of these Regulations shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction —

(a)	for a first offence, to a fine not exceeding $1,000 and to a further fine not exceeding $100 for every day or part thereof during which the offence continues after conviction;
(b)	for a second offence, to a fine not exceeding $2,000 and to a further fine not exceeding $200 for every day or part thereof during which the offence continues after conviction; and
(c)	for a third or subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding $5,000 and to a further fine not exceeding $500 for every day or part thereof during which the offence continues after conviction. [S 589/2005 wef 15/09/2005]
