Parliamentary Elections
(Prescribed Date) Order 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(4) of the Parliamentary Elections Act 1954, the Prime Minister makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Parliamentary Elections (Prescribed Date) Order 2023 and comes into operation on 1 June 2023.
Prescribed date
2.  For the purposes of section 5(1), (1A) and (2) of the Act, the prescribed date is 1 June in any year instead of 1 July.
Revocation
3.  Revoke the Parliamentary Elections (Prescribed Date) Order 2020 (G.N. No. S 157/2020).
