(Art Exhibition — Still Objects)
(Exemption) Order 2019
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16A of the Public Entertainments Act, the Minister for Communications and Information makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Public Entertainments (Art Exhibition — Still Objects) (Exemption) Order 2019 and comes into operation on 1 September 2019.
Definitions
2.  In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —
“specified person” means a person specified in the First Schedule;
“specified place” means a place specified in the Second Schedule;
“still objects” includes drawings, paintings, photographs, sculptures and flower arrangements.
Exemption
3.—(1)  An art exhibition displaying only still objects is exempt from section 4 of the Act if that art exhibition —
(a)is organised or sponsored by a specified person; and
(b)is held in a specified place.

(2)  Sub-paragraph (1) does not apply to an art exhibition of still objects provided in combination with any other public entertainment.
(3)  A reference in sub-paragraph (1)(b) to the holding of an art exhibition of still objects in a specified place is a reference to —
(a)the display of the still objects as physical exhibits in the specified place; or
(b)the display of the still objects in the specified place using real‑time transmission of an exhibition of those still objects happening at any other place (whether in or outside Singapore and whether in a public or private place).
Revocation
4.  The Public Entertainments and Meetings (Art Exhibitions) (Exemption) Order (O 2) is revoked.
