Environmental Public Health
(Registration of Environmental
Control Coordinators and
Environmental Control Officers)
(Amendment) Regulations 2025
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 111 of the Environmental Public Health Act 1987, the National Environment Agency, with the approval of the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Environmental Public Health (Registration of Environmental Control Coordinators and Environmental Control Officers) (Amendment) Regulations 2025 and come into operation on 7 April 2025.
Amendment of regulation 10
2.  In the Environmental Public Health (Registration of Environmental Control Coordinators and Environmental Control Officers) Regulations 2021 (G.N. No. S 529/2021), in regulation 10(1), replace sub‑paragraph (b) with —
“(b)the applicant has, within 3 years before the date on which the application is made, successfully completed the courses or training relating to the duties of an Environmental Control Officer specified by the Director‑General for the purpose of the renewal of the registration; and”.
Miscellaneous amendments
3.  In the Environmental Public Health (Registration of Environmental Control Coordinators and Environmental Control Officers) Regulations 2021 —
(a)in the following provisions, in the regulation heading, after “Environmental Control Coordinator”, insert “for specified premises”:

Regulation 4
Regulation 5
Regulation 6;
(b)in the following provisions, after “Environmental Control Coordinator” wherever it appears, insert “for any specified premises”:
Regulation 3(1) and (2)
Regulation 4(1), (2) and (3)
Regulation 5(1)
Regulation 6(1) and (2); and
(c)in the following provisions, replace “as specified” with “specified”:
Regulation 4(1)(b)
Regulation 6(1)(a)
Regulation 8(1)(b)(i) and (ii)
Regulation 10(1)(a)(i) and (ii).
