The following Act was passed by Parliament on 6th March 2008 and assented to by the President on 24th March 2008:—

Date of Commencement: 1st April 2008
An Act to provide for the issue from the Consolidated Fund and the Development Fund of the sums necessary to meet the estimated expenditure for the financial year 1st April 2008 to 31st March 2009.
Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows:
Short title and commencement
1.  This Act may be cited as the Supply Act 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2008.
Supply $39,679,546,800 and $15,383,667,900
2.—(1)  A sum not exceeding $39,679,546,800 is hereby authorised to be issued from the Consolidated Fund for the period from 1st April 2008 to 31st March 2009.
(2)  A sum not exceeding $15,383,667,900 is hereby authorised to be issued from the Development Fund for the period from 1st April 2008 to 31st March 2009.
(3)  The sums specified in subsections (1) and (2) are hereby appropriated for the purposes of the Heads of Expenditure specified in the Schedule.
