| An Act to amend the Legal Profession Act (Chapter 217 of the Revised Edition). |
| Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows: — |
| Short title |
| 1. This Act may be cited as the Legal Profession (Amendment) Act, 1976. |
| Amendment of section 36 |
| 2. Section 36 of the Legal Profession Act is hereby amended by deleting the words “acting solely in an advisory capacity upon instructions from a practising advocate and solicitor” appearing in paragraph (h) of subsection (1) thereof and substituting therefor the words “who is a qualified person rendering any opinion or advisory service on any matter in which he has been instructed”. |
