Read the first time on 25th February 2000.
An Act to provide for the issue from the Consolidated Fund and the Development Fund of the sums necessary to meet the estimated expenditure for the financial year 1st April 2000 to 31st March 2001.
Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows:
Short title and commencement
1.  This Act may be cited as the Supply Act 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2000.
Supply $35,462,730,330 and $29,780,204,000
2.—(1)  A sum not exceeding $35,462,730,330 is hereby authorised to be issued from the Consolidated Fund for the period from 1st April 2000 to 31st March 2001.
(2)  A sum not exceeding $29,780,204,000 is hereby authorised to be issued from the Development Fund for the period from 1st April 2000 to 31st March 2001.
(3)  The sums specified in subsections (1) and (2) are hereby appropriated for the purposes of the Heads of Expenditure specified in the Schedule.
