An Ordinance to continue in operation and to amend the Offences relating to Vehicles Ordinance, 1960 (No. 9 of 1960). |
Be it enacted by the Yang di-Pertuan Negara with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Singapore, as follows: — |
Short title and commencement |
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Offences relating to Vehicles (Amendment) Ordinance, 1961, and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 14th day of February 1961. |
Continuation in operation of the Offences relating to Vehicles Ordinance, 1960 |
2. The Offences relating to Vehicles Ordinance, 1960, is hereby continued in operation for a period of four years from the 15th day of February 1961. |
Amendment of section 1 |
3. Subsection (2) of section 1 of the Offences relating to Vehicles Ordinance, 1960, is hereby amended by deleting the words “one year” appearing in the second line thereof and substituting therefor the words “five years”. |
