An Act to provide for the issue from the Consolidated Fund and the Development Fund of the sums necessary to meet the estimated expenditure for the financial year 1st April 1998 to 31st March 1999.
Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows:
Short title and commencement
1.  This Act may be cited as the Supply Act 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1998.
Supply $40,874,281,920 and $28,645,614,600
2.—(1)  A sum not exceeding $40,874,281,920 is hereby authorised to be issued from the Consolidated Fund for the period from 1st April 1998 to 31st March 1999.
(2)  A sum not exceeding $28,645,614,600 is hereby authorised to be issued from the Development Fund for the period from 1st April 1998 to 31st March 1999.
(3)  The sums specified in subsections (1) and (2) are hereby appropriated for the purposes of the Heads of Expenditure specified in the Schedule.
