Judges’ Remuneration (Amendment) Bill

An Act to amend the Judges’ Remuneration Act, 1963, of Malaysia (No. 36 of 1963).
Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows: —
Short title and commencement
1.  This Act may be cited as the Judges’ Remuneration (Amendment) Act, 1969, and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January 1969.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Judges’ Remuneration Act, 1963, is hereby amended —
(a)by deleting the figures “30,840” appearing in the second column thereof against the expression “Chief Justice of High Court in Singapore” and substituting therefor the figures “42,000”; and
(b)by deleting the figures “25,200” appearing in the second column thereof against the expression “Other judges of High Court in Singapore” and substituting therefor the figures “32,400”.
