Final Appropriation (1959) Ordinance

An Ordinance for making Final Provision for the Public Service for the year 1959.
Whereas by the Appropriation Ordinance, 1958 (Ord. 51 of 1958), a sum not exceeding dollars two hundred and sixty-eight million, five hundred and seventeen thousand, two hundred and sixty for Ordinary expenditure was charged upon the revenues and other funds of Singapore for the service of the year 1959, to be expended as specified in the First Schedule to the said Ordinance:
And whereas by the Supplementary Appropriation Ordinance, 1959 (Ord. 75 of 1959), a further sum of dollars fifty-eight million, thirty-nine thousand and seventy-two for Ordinary expenditure was charged upon the Consolidated Fund for certain Public Services for the year 1959 to be appropriated in the proportions detailed in the First Schedule to the said Ordinance:
And whereas the Ordinary expenditure in respect of certain of such services during the year 1959 exceeded the amount so charged upon the revenues of Singapore by dollars one million, six hundred and eighty-seven thousand, seven hundred and twenty-five:
Be it enacted by the Yang di-Pertuan Negara with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Singapore, as follows: —
Short title
1.  This Ordinance may be cited as the Final Appropriation (1959) Ordinance, 1961.
Supply
2.  The further sum of dollars one million, six hundred and eighty-seven thousand, seven hundred and twenty-five shall be charged upon the revenues and other funds of Singapore for certain Public Services for the year 1959 to be appropriated according to the Schedule to this Ordinance.
