An Act to amend the Medical Registration Act (Chapter 218 of the Revised Edition).

Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows: —

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Medical Registration (Amendment) Act, 1979.

Amendment of section 22

2. Subsection (1) of section 22 of the Medical Registration Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (h) thereof and substituting therefor the word “; or”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (h) thereof, the following paragraph: —

“(i)	has failed to serve the Government or such other body or organisation as directed by the Government for such period as may be specified in any undertaking given by him to the Government.”.
